P·P·O·W is pleased to present Days Soon to Fade, an online viewing room featuring works on paper by Karen Arm, Aaron Gilbert, Ramiro Gomez, Judith Linhares, Devin N. Morris, Adam Putnam, Erin M. Riley, Allison Schulnik, Betty Tompkins, and Martin Wong. Made amidst the ongoing pandemic or chosen with this crisis in mind, these works reinforce the gallery’s longstanding commitment to championing artistic practices that explore issues of race, gender, sexuality and social equality,
In an effort to help those most effected by our current public health crisis, P·P·O·W will donate a portion of all proceeds towards the Urban Justice Center’s Domestic Violence Project. First established in East Harlem in 2003, the DVP brings together lawyers, advocates, social workers and volunteers whose mission is to help survivors of domestic violence and their children live free of violence and abuse. With mandatory quarantine orders in place nationwide, it is more important now than ever before to support organizations that provide vital resources to those trapped in dangerous relationships. As an ongoing benefit, new works will be added to this viewing room in the coming weeks.
